Speaking opportunity: Infosecurity Autumn/Fall Virtual Conference, 30 Sept 2015

I am looking for speakers to join the following discussion, as part of Infosecurity Magazine’s Fall Virtual Conference on Wednesday 30th September 2015

Assuring Privacy in the Wake of the NSA Bulk Surveillance Ruling

This session will consider the significance of the NSA’s recent ruling that bulk collection of phone metadata is illegal. Panelists will consider what this means for privacy, and for the NSA’s status.

The panel will debate what has actually changed, and consider any potential loopholes which would allow the program to continue. It will also consider the expiration of Section 215 of the Patriot Act, and comment on the political appetite in the US for support of programs of these types.

  • We are looking for academic, industry association, consulting, security body or CIO/CISO representatives for this session. Contact me in the usual way for more information or to put forward a candidate.

The session is at 1220 Eastern/1720 UK time.
