  • Guardian Professional (the new name for Kable) is relaunching its title, Smart Healthcare. The title is now officially out of “beta”. Click here to visit the beta site, or here, for a piece on electronic patient records in London’s mental health trusts.

  • The first FT Digital Business podcast of 2009 was a special on virtualisation, with interviews with VMWare, Parallels, Microsoft and IDC. If you follow this link it is the podcast with the January 14th dateline. Or you can download it in iTunes in the usual way.
